That’s why so many families and leaders have returned year after year, week after week, for more than three generations." --quoted from http://awana.org AWANA is an acronym for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, based on 2 Tim. 2:15 At Trace Creek, we currently have 4 of the 7 Clubs registered with AWANA International. ![]() * Cubbies - 3 years old thru Pre-K ![]() *Sparks - Kindergarten thru 2nd Grade. ![]() *T&T Ultimate Adventure - Boys and Girls 3rd & 4th grade. ![]() *T&T Ultimate Challenge - Boys and Girls 5th & 6th grade. * When boys and girls leave the 6th grade, they move to the Youth Group for their continued spiritual learninig and discipleship. The Leadership organization consist of Commander(s), who oversee the general process of Club nights. Each individual Club has a Director who directs the activities of their specific Club group, and works with Commander(s) to see that records and awards are properly maintained. The Leaders are those individuals who work in the Small Group environment with Clubbers. Listeners are the volunteers who work with the individual Clubbers and listen to them recite their Bible verses and Handbook Sections. ALL of the organization is under the spiritual leadership of the Pastor. AWANA Clubs meet each Wednesday evening, following the Humphreys County School schedule, from 6:00PM until 7:30PM. Anytime there is no school in session, AWANA Clubs DO NOT meet. In the event the weather closes schools, AWANA will also be cancelled. To enhance the AWANA ministry, TCBC provides the opportunity each Wednesday for boys and girls to enjoy a meal prior to Club time. These meals are served in the Fellowship Hall from 5:15PM until 5:45PM. |
